Introducing the NEW SC500 Vital Signs Monitor

Versatile and dependable in any environment

Huntleigh, a member of the Arjo family, announce the launch of its new SC500 Series vital signs monitor. This new device, manufactured at the Cardiff based site in the UK provides high performance monitoring, capable of delivering a combination of both SPOT check and medium to long term monitoring. The SC500 broadens our range of patient monitors and fits neatly into the acuity gap between our entry-level and Multi-parameter monitors.

With integrated Early Warning scoring tool (MEWS & NEWS2), three level alarms, makes SC500 ideal for long COVID measurements and observations.

Adaptable to different environments

The Smartsigns SC500 is a mains/battery operated vital signs monitor with 8” colour display; its powerful platform provides caregivers with a range of monitoring capabilities, suitable for use with adult, paediatric and neonatal patients. Including non-invasive blood pressure, pulse rate, pulse oximetry, 3 lead ECG and wireless tympanic temperature option, enabling clinicians to make key decisions at the point of delivery.

Connectivity included as standard; simplifying work streams

Meeting the ever-increasing demand for centralised data, connectivity is provided via the optional smartsigns Central View monitoring software.

Gavin Dummett, Product Manager Patient monitoring systems at Huntleigh

“We are very excited to launch a new addition to the smartsigns range, the timing of this release will assist caregivers all over the world at a time when resources are stretched. The global roll out starts immediately in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia with plans to expand further in the coming months; allowing more access to equipment that can help in the battle to save lives during COVID-19, delivering accurate and repeatable measurement when needed”.
